Lucrecia Diaz
Movements, feelings, expression, and effort constitute her visual language which is captured through her trained lens and the vision of a fine art photographer who focuses on dance.
Lucrecia obtained her photography degree from Catholic University in Santiago, Chile, and received her Master of Arts in Photography from Barry University, in Miami, Florida.
Her photography includes South Florida institutions such as the Miami Contemporary Dance Company, the Miami City Ballet, Next Step Dance, Brazz Dance and the Miami Symphony Orchestra, among others.
She has exhibited her work at the Museum of Contemporary Art in North Miami (MOCA); the Key Biscayne Public Library; the Gato Gallery at Barry University and the Colombian & Brazilian Consulates in Miami.
Lucrecia was also part of the exhibition entitled “Celebration of Female Vision- Images by South Florida Women Photographers” at the Freedom Tower.
Her work has been featured in the 2010 issue of the American Society of Media Photographers Magazine.
She has just published for the second year a beautiful calendar , featuring the dancers from the Miami Contemporary Dance Company.
Lucrecia is working at this moment in Germany.
